A Sealed Room

A Sealed Room develops images explored in Paper ghosts, an installation of etchings viewed beneath suspended theatre-lamp lenses. Here, graphite storm scenes are made miniature on the inside of oyster shells, that become impossible object and embalmed souvenir.

Presented in the group exhibition Aquarium at the Centre for Recent Drawing, London, 2007; at 13 Gladstone Place during the Brighton Festival Artist Open House, May 2008; and as part of an open studio at 22 Sandringham Road, London, September 2008.
